I have spent nearly 20 years in finance, working as a Lending Manager with some of Australia’s biggest banks – Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and Bankwest. My lending experience spans residential, commercial, bridging, and SMSF loans. I’m originally from Banja Luka in Bosnia & Herzegovina, with Croatian heritage, and I’m fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. This background has given me resilience, perspective and an appreciation for opportunity; values that continue to guide me today. Co-founding Aqua Mortgage Solutions has been one of the most rewarding steps in my career, and I’m proud to now serve as General Manager. While finance is my profession, my passion is mentoring and training new brokers. Helping others grow, succeed, and deliver outstanding service to clients drives me every day. Finance isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people. I love what I do, and I feel privileged to support clients and brokers alike on their journeys.

I’m thrilled to be joining AMS! Stepping into this exciting new chapter after several years in banking and credit assessment with ANZ. My experience has given me a strong foundation in lending, financial analysis, and client service. What drew me to this industry is the opportunity to make a real impact – helping people achieve their property dreams while navigating one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. I’m passionate about creating a smooth, empowering experience for clients and building lasting relationships based on trust, clarity, and genuine care. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking, exploring Melbourne’s food scene, or being taken for walks by my Alaskan Malamute, Odin. I’m excited to grow with AMS and to keep learning, connecting, and helping more people reach their goals through property.

As an Assessor at ANZ specialising in financial risk evaluation and compliance, I developed a strong foundation in analytical precision and strategic decision-making. My passions for field hockey and chess reflect the same balance of teamwork and foresight that I bring to every professional challenge.

I am proud to be a Mortgage Broker at Aqua Mortgage Solutions (AMS), bringing a background in teaching and office-based work that has equipped me with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. My passion for research and reading, combined with my ability to communicate effectively, drew me toward the mortgage broking industry, where I can make a meaningful impact on clients’ financial journeys. With technical knowledge, patience, and excellent listening skills, I thrive on solving problems, taking on challenges, and continuously learning. I’m new to the mortgage broking industry but not new to helping people solve complex problems. With over eight years of experience in the corporate and tech world, I’ve spent most of my career building systems that demand precision, structure, and attention to detail, qualities that now help me guide clients confidently through their home loan journey. I’ve always been good with numbers and enjoy finding the best solutions, which naturally drew me to finance and property. Mortgage broking feels like the perfect mix of analytical thinking and people connection. Outside of work, I love playing basketball and tennis as they keep me competitive and balanced. I’m really looking forward to growing in this industry, learning from experienced professionals, and helping clients make confident, well-informed decisions about one of life’s biggest milestones: buying a home.
